Dashboard Sharing Policy

The rmndr dashboard allows users to securely share their medication adherence data with trusted individuals — such as family members, friends, or healthcare professionals (collectively, "care-team members"). This policy explains how sharing works, what data is visible, what is not, and how access can be revoked.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service (in particular Section 3.5) and our Data & Privacy Policy.

1. What Is Shared

When you invite a care-team member to view your dashboard, they will be able to see:

  • The medications you have logged, including the medication names you have entered

  • The times you took them

  • Your scheduled reminder times

  • Your overall adherence patterns (e.g. missed or on-time doses, streaks, achievements)

  • Long-term trends across days, weeks, months, and years

Important: Medication names can reveal sensitive information about your health (for example, the type of medication you take may indicate the condition you have). Please only invite people you are comfortable sharing this level of information with.

No other personal or account information is shared.

2. What Is Not Shared

Sharing your dashboard does not:

  • Send alerts or notifications to your care-team member when you miss a dose

  • Constitute medical supervision, professional caregiving, or any form of active monitoring

  • Create any legal or clinical responsibility on the care-team member to ensure you take your medication

  • Provide a clinical record or medication history suitable for replacing professional medical records

If you require active supervision of your medication, you should arrange this through appropriate clinical or care services, not through rmndr.

3. How Sharing Works

  • You initiate sharing by entering a care-team member's mobile phone number in the rmndr app.

  • We send a one-time SMS to that number with a registration link. We do not send marketing or promotional messages to invited care-team members.

  • The invited person will be prompted to register and create an rmndr account to access your dashboard.

  • Once registered, they will be able to view your dashboard via the web interface.

  • If the invitation is not accepted within 30 days, we delete the invitee's contact details.

4. Your Consent

When you invite a care-team member, you give us your explicit consent (under Article 9(2)(a) of the UK GDPR) to share your medication and adherence data — which is special category health data — with that person.

You can withdraw this consent at any time by revoking access (see Section 5). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of the sharing that took place before withdrawal.

5. Revoking Access

You remain in full control of your shared data at all times. You can:

  • Revoke dashboard access instantly through the rmndr app

  • Permanently delete the connection at any time

Once access is revoked:

  • The care-team member will no longer be able to view your dashboard or receive updates.

  • We will delete any cached dashboard data held by their account.

  • However, we cannot recall data the care-team member has already viewed, screenshotted, or otherwise recorded.

6. Care-Team Member Obligations

By accepting an invitation and using the dashboard, a care-team member agrees to:

  • Keep the data confidential and not share it with anyone else without the inviter's consent

  • Use the data only for the purpose of supporting the inviter, and not for any commercial, legal, or other purpose

  • Respect the inviter's autonomy — viewing the dashboard does not give the care-team member any decision-making authority over the inviter's medication

These obligations are presented to care-team members at the point of registration and form part of their agreement to use the rmndr Service.

7. Age Requirements

Both the inviter and the care-team member must be at least 16 years old to use the rmndr Service. We do not allow under-16s to be invited as care-team members. If you wish to share your adherence data with a minor (for example, an older teenage child supporting an elderly relative), please contact us at hello@thermndr.com.

8. Healthcare Professionals

If you choose to invite a healthcare professional (such as your GP or pharmacist) as a care-team member, please note:

  • The dashboard is informational only and is not a clinical record system.

  • The data shown is what you have entered into the rmndr app and may not reflect what is in your medical record.

  • The healthcare professional is not providing clinical care through the rmndr platform, and rmndr does not establish any clinical relationship between you and them.

  • For any medical decision, your healthcare professional should rely on their own records and clinical judgement, not solely on what is shown in your dashboard.

9. Data Security

All dashboard data is transmitted and stored using:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest;

  • Authentication and access controls — only verified care-team members you have invited can access your dashboard;

  • App Check with App Attest for the iOS app;

  • Role-based access for our staff, on a need-to-know basis.
